Website The Business Law & Society department provides students with the opportunity to study law and its impact on business in conjunction with other functional areas in management. Course offerings provide students with an opportunity to study current legal and ethical issues affecting business, and to develop a vocabulary and critical thinking skills relating to various areas of interest in business and the law. Both core and elective courses provide students with essential legal analytical skills that are valuable for business decision making. The knowledge and skills gained from business law courses are useful for careers in consulting, risk management, accounting, human resource management, finance, marketing, and securities.
