About Tom: 

For the last 1.5 years, Tom Herer has been a Senior Marketing Associate on Tommy John’s Growth Marketing team.  At TJ, Tom oversees offline marketing and SEO; more specifically, the scripting and media planning of radio/podcasts, planning and execution of nation-wide direct mail sends, and coordinating the content and technical aspects of Tommy John’s SEO with internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to joining TJ, Tom interned and worked full-time at Boston-based startup Lovepop for ~3 years.  He served in various roles, initially joining as a Marketing Intern (working from the summer going into senior year until graduation) and ultimately ending up on the Acquisition Marketing team managing its sports partnerships as well as its B2B and licensed marketing.

At Boston College, Tom served on the Start@Shea/BCVC’s Executive Board for four years and its Chair his final year.  Tom also participated in RHA and was a member of TechTrek West his sophomore year. 

About Paul:

Paul Hillen has worked at Tommy John for 3.5 years, and is currently the Director of Growth Marketing. Before working at Tommy John, he worked on the marketing team at the home services startup, Handy (since acquired by ANGI Homeservices). Prior to graduation, Paul held various internship positions at both tech startups and advertising agencies, including Square and Box. 

Paul graduated from Boston College in 2015 with degrees in Marketing and Information Systems. He served on the Shea Center’s Executive Board (then called BCVC) for all four years, and was the Chair his senior year. Paul is a proud alumn of both TechTrek West and TechTrek Boston.
