About Alexis:

Alexis Teixeira is an ever-curious, thoughtful and compassionate leader. She currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO at Carta which is an equity management FinTech company looking to create more owners in the world. Prior to Carta, Alexis worked in the Core Management Team at Bridgewater and previously was an analyst at UBS Wealth Management. 

Alexis graduated Boston College Carroll School of Management in 2017 with a double concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Alexis also advises early-stage consumer startups, serves on the junior board of Robin Hood and Pencils of Promise and enjoys traveling to new places and running around Central Park. 

About James: James McGillicuddy is a serial entrepreneur and is currently a member of the Strategy team at Carta and previously was COO of Sourcegraph, Sales Executive at RelateIQ (acquired by Salesforce) and an Associate at Summit Partners. James played football for six years at Stanford and graduated with an MA Communication and a BA Science, Technology and General Studies. A Massachusetts native, James loves the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics---as well as spending time in Cape Cod.
