 uJb27\n\nTo mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement\, Irish 
 Studies will host a two-day symposium at Connolly House on women’s voices t
 hat offer insight into the Troubles. On Friday\, April 28\, Belfast-born au
 thor Louise Kennedy will read from her acclaimed debut novel\, Trespasses\,
  about a romance across the sectarian divide in 1970s Belfast. Kennedy will
  then discuss her work with Susan McKay. \n\nFor Saturday’s program\, Derry
 -born journalists  Susan McKay and Freya McClements will provide reflection
 s on women in journalism\; McKay at 10am and McClements at 11:30 am\, both 
 at Connolly House. Following their reflections\, the screening of Lyra\, a 
 2022 documentary by Alison Millar about the life and death of Northern Iris
 h journalist Lyra McKee\, will then be held at 1:00pm at Devlin Hall\, 101.
