The Boston College Arts Council and the Robsham Theater Arts Center are proud to showcase the spectacular dancing talent at Boston College with an annual week of dance.

The week of dance is packed with dance workshops run by students from some of BC's best dance groups, and culminates in two nights of performances by dance groups of all different styles.

Masterclass Dance Workshop: Modern & Contemporary Jazz

This class is structured in a way that will challenge movers of varying dance backgrounds and experience levels. Students will be lead though a full-body warm-up that includes floor and center work with a focus on moving from the torso/core. The class will then progress to across the floor exercises and finally a longer combination that cumulatively includes earlier-introduced elements.

Education: James Madison University with a B.A. in Dance and Journalism (2015)
Teaching Experience: Roxbiury Community College, Oak Square YMCA, Chu Ling Dance Academy
Current Performance Experience: Kairos Dance Theater, Lakai Dance Theatre, Jean Appolon Expressions
Interests: Modern, ballet, jass and West African dance, as well as teaching methods, composition, anatomy/somatics and various theater design
