Attendees of this workshop will learn about the national Voting Is Social Work model and campaign. Its application to the Massachusetts context will be discussed to identify special populations that may benefit from this intervention. The facilitators, Leigh Hardy, LICSW, and Ayesha Wilson, MSW, will bring their experience from the social work field and connect it to the themes of voter literacy. Attendees are encouraged to reflect on how voter literacy can be integrated into their daily practice at micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
