 The Sympathizer (2015)is a New York Times bestseller and won the Pulitzer

 emory of War (a finalist for the National Book Award in nonfiction)\, Race
  and Resistance: Literature and Politics in Asian America\, and a short st
 ory collection\, The Refugees (2017). He is the Aerol Arnold Chair of Engl
 ish and Professor of American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of S
 outhern California. He is a critic at large for the Los Angeles Times and 
 has written for the New York Times\, Time\, The Guardian\, The Atlantic\, 
 and other venues.
