Those who suffer from gambling disorder can arguably be looked at as an “underserved population," resulting in noticeably lower awareness levels and treatment options. Yet the consequences from this behavioral health condition often rival those that result from substance use disorders on both individual and community levels.

This session will introduce participants to the terminology, prevalence rates, and concepts associated with problem gambling. It will also review some important considerations when assessing and treating gambling disorder.
