UCT Discussion Group: Teaching Online in 2020
Tuesday, November 24, 2020 3pm to 4pm

About this Event
As we look ahead to another unusual semester this spring, The University Council on Teaching (UCT) is partnering with the CTE to organize a number of faculty discussions about what you’ve learned about teaching in this pandemic context. We’re curious to hear what’s been working for you (and not) as you figure out how to teach in socially distanced classrooms and in newly online contexts. We will compile the key points and overarching themes from the discussion groups into a resource guide that will be shared out with faculty in January to assist our community with spring course planning.
Our discussions on Teaching Online (sessions available on November 20th, November 24th, or December 2nd) will encompass all the various ways faculty have taught online this semester, whether your course was primarily asynchronous or involved regular Zoom meetings. We hope you’ll join us to share your own reflections and hear from your colleagues about their experiences teaching this semester.
