As we look ahead to another unusual semester this spring, The University Council on Teaching (UCT) is partnering with the CTE to organize a number of faculty discussions about what you’ve learned about teaching in this pandemic context. We’re curious to hear what’s been working for you (and not) as you figure out how to teach in socially distanced classrooms and in newly online contexts. We will compile the key points and overarching themes from the discussion groups into a resource guide that will be shared out with faculty in January to assist our community with spring course planning.

Our discussions on Teaching in the Classroom (sessions available on November 18th, November 23rd, or December 4th) will encompass all the various ways faculty have taught in-person classes this semester, whether you had all your students meeting together or had them alternating in-person and remote participation. We hope you’ll join us to share your own reflections and hear from your colleagues about their experiences teaching this semester.
