Trump v. CASA: Nationwide Injunctions & the Future of Public Law Litigation
About this Event
Two of our Civil Procedure professors, Andrea Olson and Sergio Campos, will discuss and then lead a conversation about the implications of the Supreme Court's summer decision in Trump v. CASA. The Court did not decide the birthright citizenship case on its merits but rather addressed the remedy provided by the lower courts: a nationwide injunction.
This event is the first of our fall Critical Conversations Series. The conversations are designed to complement the Critical Perspectives curriculum but are open to the entire commuity. All students, faculty, and staff are invited and encouraged to join! Lunch will be served (please RSVP by end of day Monday 9/29 so we have an accurate headcount).
