The War in Ukraine: One Year After Russia's Invasion
On 24 February 2022, Putin's Russia invaded Ukraine, setting off the bloodiest battles that Europe has seen since the defeat of Nazism. An interdisciplinary panel of Boston College faculty will discuss the Russia-Ukraine War and offer historical, geopolitical, cultural, and religious perspectives.
Panelists: Gerald Easter (Political Science), Nicole Eaton (History), Devin Pendas (History), Maxim D. Shrayer (Eastern, Slavic, and German Studies). Moderator: Curt Woolhiser (Easten, Slavic, and German Studies). Introduction: Franck Salameh (Easten, Slavic, and German Studies).
