The ImpACCt Design Summit is a collaborative celebration of the application of a design thinking and innovation mindset to explore, analyze, and help solve complex real-world problems using human-centered, multi-perspective approaches. 

NC State, Virginia Tech, and Clemson will be sending representatives to this unique summit.

Members of the Boston College community are invited to attend student project presentations from these mixed ACC school design thinking student group teams on Friday, November 19th, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in Fulton 511.

Project Presentation Schedule is as follows:

• 2:15-2:45 -Transportation, Accessibility, and Inclusion
• 3:00-3:45 -Longevity and Environments: Rethinking Mold
• 3:45-4:15 -Water Waste Innovation 
• 4:30-5:00 -Innovative Design and Play

This summit is the product of the ACC Academic Leadership Network (ALN). Boston College’s participation in the ACC-ALN ImpACCt Design Summit is supported by the Provost and Dean of Faculties at Boston College Office, the Vice Provost for Research and Academic Planning Office, the Associate Vice Provost, for Design and Innovation Strategies Office, and the Experience Reflection and Action (ERA) first-year program.
