1:00 PM - Take bus into Boston. The bus leaves at 1:00 sharp, so please meet at Alumni Stadium prior to 1:00.
1:45 - 3:00 PM - Visit Google
3:15 - 4:15 PM - Visit Accomplice Ventures
4:15 ~ 5:00 PM - Bus back to BC.
As part of the Shea Center’s experiential learning initiatives and to complement other co-curricular activities, the Shea Center for Entrepreneurship will be doing multiple visits throughout the semester to tech and startup companies, offering students the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship outside of the classroom.
Google is a multinational, publicly-traded organization built around the company's hugely popular search engine. Google's other enterprises include Internet analytics, cloud computing, advertising technologies, and Web app, browser and operating system development.
Accomplice Ventures is a seed-led venture capital firm that embraces risk. They have been part of the origination story of companies that matter, including AngelList, Carbon Black, DraftKings, Hopper, PillPack, Veracode, and Zoopla. Accomplice has pioneered a community approach through platforms like Spearhead, BOSS, Rev, and TUGG. Based in Boston and San Francisco.
