Join us for an information session and discussion with returning program participants who will talk about the Boston College study abroad experinece in Africa. Hear about academic year and summer programs offered through the Office of Global Education, and students' experiences studying and living in different parts of the African continent. The presentation will be followed by a docent tour of "States of Becoming", the new traveling exhibition at Boston College's McMullen Museum of Art that explores the influences on contemporary African diaspora artists and examined the dynamic forces of relocation, resettling, and assimilation that shape the artistic practices of a group of 17 contemporary African artists, and informs the discourse on identity construction within the African diaspora.
