Jimmy McDermott '21 is the Co-Founder and CTO of Transeo (gotranseo.com), an EdTech life-readiness company that has raised $5m from investors and works with hundreds of school districts. Previously, he was the CEO of a digital agency working with clients across the country on their products and projects. During his time at BC, Jimmy was a TA for Professor Gallaugher's Swift course and a frequent participant in Shea Center events. 

Jimmy has experience as an iOS Apprentice at Vokal, iOS Engineer at BlueLine Labs, being the co-founder of two other startups, Glimpse and 162, before co-founding Transeo. As the CTO of Transeo, he is responsible for the design and development of the technology that powers student service learning at high schools across the country. In addition to the development of Transeo, I work directly with our partner schools to ensure that the technology is integrated into their educational ecosystem seamlessly and effectively.
