 ssociate professor at Dartmouth. Professor Mirica heads the Mirica Group a
 t Dartmouth College\, focused on Materials Chemistry to address challenges
  in healthcare\, environmental stewardship\, and microelectronics.\n\nThei
 r research involves designing and synthesizing stimuli-responsive material
 s for use in mobile chemical sensors and microelectronic devices. A core a
 spect of their work is a feedback loop between fundamental and applied sci
 ence\, using their understanding of molecular interactions to refine and d
 eploy functional materials that may also have applications in information
