Join us to hear from Prof. Katherine Mirica, a BC alumna and associate professor at Dartmouth. Professor Mirica heads the Mirica Group at Dartmouth College, focused on Materials Chemistry to address challenges in healthcare, environmental stewardship, and microelectronics.

Their research involves designing and synthesizing stimuli-responsive materials for use in mobile chemical sensors and microelectronic devices. A core aspect of their work is a feedback loop between fundamental and applied science, using their understanding of molecular interactions to refine and deploy functional materials that may also have applications in information storage and energy conversion.
