 n overview of the real estate field through weekly sessions with industry p
 rofessionals. Each session covers diverse topics including finance\, invest
 ment\, law\, planning\, public policy\, REITs\, capital markets\, leasing\,
  brokerage\, and development. Representatives from across the industry shar
 e insights into career paths and provide a comprehensive view of this multi
 faceted field.\n\nGuest Speaker: Noreen Short\n\nNoreen assumed the role of
  Chief Credit Officer in 2022. Noreen has more than 20 years of affordable 
 housing and LIHTC experience. As Chief Credit Officer\, she is responsible 
 for the credit and underwriting function at Boston Financial and is a membe
 r of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to re-joining Boston Financial\
 , Noreen spent more than 13 years at Capital One in their tax credit group\
 , most recently as the Senior Director and Head of Portfolio Management. In
  this role she led a portfolio management team responsible for asset manage
 ment of a $6 billion debt & equity portfolio. Prior to that\, she spent nin
 e years in senior roles on the Equity Underwriting team at Capital One\, du
 ring which time she managed 13 client relationships with regional and natio
 nal syndication partners and underwrote and invested in more than $2 billio
 n in LIHTC multi-fund investments. Noreen previously worked for five years 
 at MMA Financial LLC\, the predecessor to Boston Financial\, performing mar
 ket studies on more than $400 million in both proprietary and multi-fund in
 vestments. Noreen holds a BS from the Carroll School of Management at Bosto
