Guest Speaker: Noreen Short

Noreen assumed the role of Chief Credit Officer in 2022. Noreen has more than 20 years of affordable housing and LIHTC experience. As Chief Credit Officer, she is responsible for the credit and underwriting function at Boston Financial and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to re-joining Boston Financial, Noreen spent more than 13 years at Capital One in their tax credit group, most recently as the Senior Director and Head of Portfolio Management. In this role she led a portfolio management team responsible for asset management of a $6 billion debt & equity portfolio. Prior to that, she spent nine years in senior roles on the Equity Underwriting team at Capital One, during which time she managed 13 client relationships with regional and national syndication partners and underwrote and invested in more than $2 billion in LIHTC multi-fund investments. Noreen previously worked for five years at MMA Financial LLC, the predecessor to Boston Financial, performing market studies on more than $400 million in both proprietary and multi-fund investments. Noreen holds a BS from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
