The McMullen Museum is teaming up with Queer Leadership Council (QLC) on the last night of Pride Week 2023 for a movie night on the terrace. Join us in watching the acclaimed Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019), set in France in 1770. In the film, Marianne, a painter, is commissioned to do the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young woman who has just left the convent. Héloïse is a reluctant bride to be and Marianne must paint her without her knowing. She observes her by day, to paint her secretly. Popcorn, candy, and refreshments provided.
