Darrick Hamilton is the founding Director of the Institute on Race, Power, and Political Economy at The New School, Professor of Economics and Urban Policy, and Chief Economist of AFL-CIO. He is a leading economist and public intellectual redefining how economies work for all people, with expertise in economic inclusion, policy development, and urban economic policy. He is also a 2025-2026 Harvard Radcliffe Fellow.
