The Global Practice program at the Boston College School of Social Work trains future practitioners to make a lasting impact in global social work, humanitarian aid, and international development. It gives them the skills to design and evaluate programs for refugees, counsel survivors of gender-based violence, conduct research on migration policies, and more. Here are a few highlights about the Global Practice program:

• 54 - Total number of countries where BCSSW students have completed their Global Practice placements
• 278 - Global Practice alumni
• 98 - Total number of field agency organizations where Global Practice students have completed their placements
• 2006- Global Practice Department founded
