The Boston College Alumni Network invites you for the next installment of the St. Ignatius Military History Series, Military Education at Boston College Since 1863: from the Foster Cadets to the Green Berets.

From its founding in 1863, Boston College has often been an enthusiastic host to various programs of military education leading to careers of service for our nation. This presentation will broadly review that history and then pivot to an overview of contemporary programs of outreach and support to all BC service members and veterans, both student and alumni. We will also present a special challenge to our participants: to help solve a more than half-century mystery associated with our military education heritage.

Brian Cummins ’82 (BC Veterans Alumni Network) and Mike Lorenz (BC Veterans Programs and Services) will lead the discussion.
