DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 11th for lunch with BC Alum Nicole Giusti\, a 
 Marketing and Communications Associate at LifeNet International and Communi
 cations Director at Acrobatics Circus Troupe in Uganda! After hearing about
  Nicole's experiences in marketing\, business and sustainable healthcare\, 
 you will have the opportunity to network with Nicole and fellow students. \
 n\nLunch is provided by Shea Center for Entrepreneurship. Please register h
 ere to reserve a spot.\n\n \n\nAbout Nicole: \n\nNicole Giusti graduated fr
 om the Carroll School of Management in 2016 with a dual concentration in Ma
 rketing and Information Systems and a minor in Applied Psychology and Human
  Development from the Lynch School of Education. While in college\, Nicole 
 helped to start a club called CHAARG (Changing Health Attitudes and Actions
  to Recreate Girls) that promotes a healthy lifestyle and positive body ima
 ge in college-aged women. Nicole was also highly involved in BC athletics\,
  first as a cheerleader and later as an emcee at hockey and basketball game
 s. \n\nAfter graduation\, Nicole joined PatientsLikeMe (PLM)\, a Boston-bas
 ed company that empowers patients by providing them with digital tools for 
 knowledge sharing. Nicole focused on creating programs to build user engage
 ment and retention. She successfully launched an Ambassador program to enga
 ge over 6\,000 of PLM’s most active users.\n\nIn May 2017\, Nicole was acce
 pted to Global Health Corps\, a leadership development program focused on g
 lobal health equity. As part of the program\, she moved to Kampala\, Uganda
  in July 2017 as the Marketing and Communications Associate at LifeNet Inte
 rnational\, a non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming healt
 hcare in sub-Saharan Africa. In her role\, Nicole tells LifeNet’s story usi
 ng photos\, eye-catching graphics\, patient profiles and persuasive writing
 . Nicole also manages all of LifeNet’s social media profiles and was able t
 o grow their following across all of their platforms.   \n\nWhile in Uganda
 \, Nicole became connected with Acrobatics Circus Troupe (ACT)\, a communit
 y-based organization in Katwe\, the largest slum in Kampala\, Uganda. ACT u
 ses acrobatics to empower the children in Katwe and keep them away from the
  drugs\, alcohol and violence that are prevalent in the community. Pulling 
 from her years as a cheerleader\, Nicole coached a team of nine to sixteen 
 year-old boys and also became ACT’s Communications Director. In her one yea
 r the organization grew rapidly—athletes were given opportunities to travel
  outside Uganda\, international donors took notice of their work and they l
 aunched a website.
