Mike Perry is currently a Marketing Coordinator on Twitter’s Global Brand & Content Marketing team. During his time on campus, Mike served on the Shea Center’s Executive Board for four years, ultimately assuming the role of Chairman during his final year. He is an inaugural participant in a year-long partnership program between Boston College & IIT Bombay, which traveled to India seeking to increase access to electricity for impoverished villagers through a strategic solar distribution plan.
Prior to joining Twitter, Mike interned at two tech startups - Handy & Flatiron Health - in growth marketing positions. He started at Twitter as an intern on the Global Business Marketing team, based in the New York office. The team extended Mike’s summer internship throughout the academic year, and he worked remotely from Boston. Mike received a full-time offer from Twitter, and moved out to San Francisco after graduation.
As a full-time Tweep, Mike oversees business marketing’s flagship global content platform, marketing.twitter.com (MTC). The home of Twitter’s business value proposition & advertising solutions, MTC is where marketers come to learn why, when and how Twitter is valuable for their brand.
The Global Brand & Content Marketing team produces compelling content at scale which tells the story of Twitter’s business value proposition for advertisers. This content is leveraged by the sales team and distributed globally through various owned and operated channels. As Twitter’s advertising business & cultural influence grows worldwide, Mike seeks to show advertisers why Twitter is a must-buy in today’s digital landscape.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, with a concentration in Marketing & Operations.
Lunch is provided by the Shea Center. Space is limited. Please register here.
