Living Out the Jesuit Mission: Empowering Joyful Ministry
Tuesday, May 14, 2019 12pm to 1:30pm
About this Event
Through a grant from Catholic Extension and the Hilton Family Foundation, the Woods College of Advancing Studies at Boston College offers educational opportunities to 36 Latin American Sisters from various economically disadvantaged dioceses in Latin America. These educational experiences help prepare the Sisters for leadership roles within their current diocesan placement, and for future leadership work in their home country. Twelve of the 36 Sisters are students in Woods College’s Master of Science in Applied Leadership (MSAL) degree program and will be graduating this May 2019.
We invite you to join us in a panel discussion as three of the Sisters share their stories and experience. The panel discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Elisabeth Hiles, Program Director, Master of Science in Leadership and Administration, and Master of Science in Sports Administration.
Panelists:
* Sister María Teresa de Loera López, Aguascalientes, Mexico
* Sister María Teresa Gutiérrez Romo, Aguascalientes, Mexico
* Sister Brenda Teresita Hernández Valdes, Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico
Light lunch will be served.
