How can we navigate deep societal divides without losing sight of our shared humanity?
Join us for the next installment of the Living Out the Jesuit, Catholic Mission: Diverse Perspectives Series featuring Boston College Professor Cathleen Kaveny, whose groundbreaking work at the intersection of Law and Theology redefines civility as a profound commitment to respectfully engaging every member of our community.
Professor Kaveny will discuss the essential transition from "call-out culture" to "call-in culture" rooted in mercy, active listening, and accountability. By embracing slow thinking and intellectual humility, she offers a practical framework for bridging across differences and living out our shared mission through compassionate dialogue.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, in Walsh Hall 131. All faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided.
