About this Event
Boston College
Free speech, racial equality, and democracy remain the fundamental values taught to school children across the United States. Yet, when it comes to protecting the rights, dignity and lives of Muslims and Arabs, the U.S. government's actions all too often betray those values. Distinguished Professor Sahar Aziz will examine the origins and consequences of the current iteration of dehumanization of Palestinians in Gaza within the broader context of systemic racism domestically and U.S. hegemony in the Middle East.
