Dr. Kate Willis, Assistant Director, Data Visualization Laboratory, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Boston College, will be giving a talk on data visualization research support in the Earth Sciences. Data visualization is important in earth and space science as data sets become increasingly complex. Thoughtful and creative data visualization may enable researchers to glean more insight into connections and can tell a compelling story to funding agencies and the public.
