 t who has spent more than two decades building and scaling influential tec
 hnology companies\, now increasingly at the frontier of AI.\n\nPeter began
  his career at Price Waterhouse before joining EMC Corporation in 1986\, w
 here he helped drive growth during the rise of enterprise computing. In 19
 98\, he co-founded StorageNetworks\, an early pioneer in cloud computing\,
  and led the company as CEO through its IPO in 2000. That experience shape
 d his perspective on major platform shifts similar to today’s AI moment.
 \n\nCommitted to education and mentorship\, Peter later taught entrepreneu
 rship at MIT Sloan and Boston College and served as a BC Trustee from 2002
  to 2010. In 2006\, he joined Highland Capital Partners\, a 4 billion doll
 ar global venture firm\, where he led early-stage technology investments a
 nd became Managing General Partner. His investment career has generated mo
 re than 8 billion dollars in liquidity\, including companies building core
  infrastructure and data-driven platforms such as Gigamon\, Turbonomic\, W
 ePay\, and LevelUp.\n\nSince 2018\, Peter has been a partner at Amity\, wh
 ere he focuses on backing founders building companies of consequence\, inc
 luding AI and data-centric businesses. He currently represents Amity on th
 e boards of Edge Delta\, Vowel\, and Accelevents\, and oversees investment
 s in Column\, Qumulo\, Socure\, and Snyk. Peter holds a BS from Boston Col
 lege\, an MBA from Harvard Business School\, and an Honorary Doctorate fro
 m Babson College.
