The Corcoran Center is excited to announce a series of “Industry Insight” lunches hosted by our Undergraduate Real Estate Council this spring, featuring industry experts from across the Real Estate and Urban Action field.

Join us on select Fridays during the semester from 1 to 2 p.m. in Carney Hall 437 to network and gain insight into the many dynamic areas of Real Estate.

Our first lunch will be on Friday, February 6th at 1 p.m., with Thalia Chaves, of the Barr Foundation. All are welcome, but please register as space is limited, and a catered lunch will be provided.

Thalia Chaves is a program associate on the climate change team at the Barr Foundation. She graduated from BC in 2024 with a B.A. in International Relations and was involved in the Corcoran Center and Schiller Institute. Thalia is also currently doing research with the Oxford Sustainable Law Program’s climate litigation lab and considering law school.
