Salamishah Tillet, Ph.D and Scheherazade Tillet, M.A.T are the co-founders of a A Long Walk Home, a non-profit organization that empowers young artists and activists to end violence against all girls and women. A Long Walk Home has been advocating for racial and gender equity in schools, communities, and our country-at-large for over twenty years.
