In celebration of Graduate Student Appreciation Month, the BC Graduate Student Association (GSA) is collaborating with Boston Art & Music Soul (BAMS) Fest in order to put on a concert series that you can stream live at home! Concert attendees will be entered in a series of raffles! On April 16th, we will be giving away a JBL speaker and a cocktail making kit.

More about this artist: Jazzmyn RED is a passionate artist from Massachusetts who blends her lyricism, tack sharp bars, soulful singing and songwriting talents that create a unique sound. It’s through her genre blending sound and her penchant for bold storytelling based on her own experiences about relationships, our communities and social justice issues that her musical message truly resonates with her fans.

Her new EP entitled REDvolution, was released on August 28, 2020 marking the 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. The lead track, We Gon' Make It, was created as the anthem for Black Ballot Power, a national non-partisan campaign to increase voter turnout in the key battleground states in the recent 2020 election. REDvolution has earned Jazzmyn 3 Boston Music Award 2020 nominations and has been featured in The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, The Worcester Telegram, and on iHeart Radio and Boston’s NPR website.
