With Dana Sajdi, Associate Professor of History, Boston College

Sajdi, whose research and teaching focus on a range of issues within the Middle East, will provide a basic history of the town of Gaza and its transformation from a Mediterranean port and gateway to Egypt; to the main urban node of several Palestinian refugee camps, the Gaza Strip; to a sealed-off territory that has been called "the biggest prison on earth."

Light refreshments will be provided.  RSVP at: tinyurl.com/SajdiRSVP
