Gaelic Roots concert featuring Lillis Ó Laoire
Join us for a performance of sean-nós - traditional Irish unaccompanied singing - with Lillis Ó Laoire from Gort A' Choirce, Co. Donegal. Laoire teaches courses in Irish language, folklore and Celtic Civilisation in the School of Irish, NUI Galway. He has published widely on Irish language songs as well as essays on other folklore genres and on literature. He is the editor of the journal Folk Life.
