  enormous success of Planxity in the 1970s\, his duo with Paul Brady in the
  late 1970s\, and then from Patrick Street to Mozaik\, LAPD\, and Usher's I
 sland\, Andy has been a world music pioneer and an icon for traditional mus
 ic and musicians.\n\nEver the man for new pastures\, Andy has played concer
 ts all over Europe and has toured many times in Australia\, New Zealand\, t
 he United States\, and Canada. He has also undertaken extensive tours of Co
 sta Rica\, Panama\, Nicaragua\, Japan\, Iceland\, the Faroe Islands\, Argen
 tina\, and Chile. \n\nAndy received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the i
 naugural RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards in 2018. Although an integral part of the
