The Consulate General of Ireland, Boston, in partnership with the Burns Library, Boston College, is delighted to present “Frederick Douglass & Ireland: A Special Relationship.”

The evening program will feature a public lecture and panel discussion with expertise from:

  • Kenneth B. Morris, Jr. – great-great-great grandson of Frederick Douglass and founder of Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives.
  • Kristin Leary – co-founder of the Frederick Douglass Ireland Project.
  • Prof. Christine Kinealy – author of Frederick Douglass and Ireland: In His Own Words

The lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Advance registration preferred but not required.
