Frederick Douglass & Ireland: A Special Relationship
The Consulate General of Ireland, Boston, in partnership with the Burns Library, Boston College, is delighted to present “Frederick Douglass & Ireland: A Special Relationship.”
The evening program will feature a public lecture and panel discussion with expertise from:
- Kenneth B. Morris, Jr. – great-great-great grandson of Frederick Douglass and founder of Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives.
- Kristin Leary – co-founder of the Frederick Douglass Ireland Project.
- Prof. Christine Kinealy – author of Frederick Douglass and Ireland: In His Own Words
The lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Advance registration preferred but not required.
For directions, please see the map to the right. For parking and other information, please refer to the University's Admissions website. We recommend parking in the Commonwealth Garage or on Commonwealth Avenue if parking is not available on Linden Lane next to Burns Library.
