DESCRIPTION:Diana Schaub is an emerita Professor of Political Science at Lo
 yola University Maryland and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the American En
 terprise Institute. She is the author of Erotic Liberalism: Women and Revol
 ution in Montesquieu’s “Persian Letters” (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers\,
  1995) and His Greatest Speeches: How Lincoln Moved the Nation (St. Martin’
 s Press\, 2021). She served as the Garwood Teaching Fellow at Princeton Uni
 versity in 2011-12 and Visiting Professor of Political Theory in the Govern
 ment Department at Harvard University in 2018 and 2020. From 2004 to 2009\,
  she was a member of the President’s Council on Bioethics. She is a co-auth
 or of the forthcoming book Slavery\, Equality\, and the American Revolution
  (AEI Press\, 2025).
