Diana Schaub is an emerita Professor of Political Science at Loyola University Maryland and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. She is the author of Erotic Liberalism: Women and Revolution in Montesquieu’s “Persian Letters” (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, 1995) and His Greatest Speeches: How Lincoln Moved the Nation (St. Martin’s Press, 2021). She served as the Garwood Teaching Fellow at Princeton University in 2011-12 and Visiting Professor of Political Theory in the Government Department at Harvard University in 2018 and 2020. From 2004 to 2009, she was a member of the President’s Council on Bioethics. She is a co-author of the forthcoming book Slavery, Equality, and the American Revolution (AEI Press, 2025).
