  Ditchfield\, Professor of History at the University of York\, United King
 dom.\n\nHis presentation is entitled\,\n"When the Saints Go Marching In"\n
 Jesuit Hagiography in Counter-Reformation Context\n\nThis presentation exa
 mines why the history of the Society of Jesus\, and especially the history
  of Jesuit saints\, remains essential for understanding the early modern w
 orld. Dr. Ditchfield combines personal reflections on his scholarly journe
 y in Jesuit studies with broader analysis of current research trends\, dem
 onstrating how Jesuit history illuminates fundamental questions across mul
