Jennfier Braceras will be speaking on the Importance of the Electoral College in today's political environment

 A lawyer, columnist, and political analyst. She is the founder of Independent Women’s Law Center, a project of Independent Women's Forum. IWLC defends equal opportunity, due process, free speech, and the continued existence of women’s spaces. Braceras served as IWLC’s first director from 2019 until 2024.

A former member of the United States Commission on Civil Rights, Braceras is an expert on Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. She is also a long-time political columnist and news editor whose work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, National Review Online, and other publications. She has appeared as a guest on CNN, Fox News, WGBH-Boston, WBUR-Boston, and New England Cable News.

Earlier in her career, Braceras practiced labor and employment law with the Boston law firm Ropes & Gray and taught courses on civil rights and constitutional law at Boston College Law School and Suffolk University Law School.
She received her law degree in 1994 from Harvard, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Upon graduating from law school, Braceras clerked for the Hon. William G. Young of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and for the Hon. Ralph K. Winter of the United States Court of Appeals for the 2d Circuit.
