To introduce the McMullen Portal and its various applications for classroom learning and engagement, the Museum will be connecting with three countries over the course of an hour and a half, including Kigali, Rwanda; Erbil, Iraq; and Johannesburg, South Africa. Transcending borders, Portals are interconnected audiovisual environments that allow visitors to converse with those in a distant Portal, as if in the same room. Stop by anytime during this demo. Light refreshments will be provided. McMullen Manager of Education Rachel Chamberlain (rachel.chamberlain@bc.edu) will be on hand to answer questions and assist with scheduling a class visit to the Portal.
