Join the Boston College Veterans Alumni Network for a special presentation on the unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs of being a member of a military family. Dr. Julie Canfield will highlight some of the significant experiences that are unique to military families including how different family members experience the transition into and out of the military culture in distinct ways. Our all-volunteer military families experience incredible stresses through peace and war unlike those experienced by the greater civilian population including the ever-present threat to families during wartime service. Learn some of the ways in which military families adjust and adapt to these experiences and thrive in the midst of them.
