DESCRIPTION:The Engaging Difference & Justice Lecture Series provides an op
 portunity for faculty and graduate student instructors to learn about how 
 other BC faculty engage students in conversations about difference\, justi
 ce\, and critical social questions. Join us at this event to hear about th
 e way Cherie McGill (Philosophy) defines success with students in these co
 nversations. In addition to learning McGill’s approach\, participants wi
 ll have a chance to ask questions and converse with colleagues.\n\nOpen to
  all BC instructors\, this program has a special focus on teaching courses
  that fulfill the renewed Cultural Diversity Core Requirement through eith
 er the Engaging Difference & Justice or the Difference\, Justice\, and the
  Common Good pathway. Speakers in the series have also taught Complex Prob
 lem and Enduring Question courses.\n\nThe Center for Teaching Excellence a
