Dr. Tia Noelle Pratt is Assistant Vice President for Mission Engagement and Strategic Initiatives at Villanova University. A sociologist by training, Dr. Pratt has researched and written about systemic racism in the Catholic Church and its impact on African American Catholic identity for more than twenty years. Drawing on this work and Catholic Social Teaching, Dr. Pratt discusses anti-racism strategies that demonstrate how such initiatives are both mission-driven and the work of the Church.
