Join the Council for Students with Disabilities (CSD) and the CTE for a panel discussion on the diversity of disabled students’ experiences in Boston College classrooms. Those who attend will leave with a richer understanding of the variety of experiences students with disabilities have in their courses and ideas for a few changes they could make to their teaching to make their courses even more accessible.

The conversation will focus on general classroom practices (e.g. welcoming conversation about registered accommodations, drafting classroom policies with the assumption that students with disabilities will enroll, etc.), not on managing the accommodations of particular students. To find support on meeting the needs of an individual student’s accommodations, please contact the support office with which the student is registered (Connors Family Learning Center for learning disabilities and/or ADHD and Disability Services for all other disabilities).

The Center for Teaching Excellence is committed to providing equal access to their events and programs. Individuals who anticipate needing accommodations or who have questions about access may contact centerforteaching@bc.edu.  Please reach out to us at least two business days in advance of the event with any requests for accommodation.
