The ACC-ALN Design for ImpACCt 2023 Summit at Boston College is a collaborative celebration and culmination of the application of a design thinking and innovation mindset to explore, analyze, and help solve complex real-world problems using human-centered, multidisciplinary approaches.

Students and their supervisors from NC State, Virginia Tech, and Clemson University (Kathryn Wozniak, David Gray, and Daniel Harding) will travel north along the eastern seaboard to present their Fall 2023 Design for ImpACCt projects along with BC students and supervisor (Julia DeVoy). Teams have worked from a human-centered, interdisciplinary lensーincluding architecture, applied psychology, business, computer science, engineering, transformative education, history, industrial design, and environmental studiesーto address complex, real-world problems.

Join us for Lunch (with guest speakers) and/or Design for ImpACCt Team Presentations!
