Come join a panel of BC Law alumni as they discuss their careers and practices across many areas of transactional real estate law and litigation.

The panelists are Benjamin Hittman, Louise Giannakis, David Libardoni, and Natasha Winter.

• Ben Hittman is a Partner in Goodwin Procter’s Real Estate Industry group. Mr. Hittman represents real estate investment funds, REITs, institutional investors, developers and other owners and operators of real estate in complex transactions involving commercial, industrial, office, hospitality and multifamily assets, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, development agreements, and financings. Mr. Hittman is also a member of Goodwin’s PropTech Initiative, which is focused on supporting the intersection of Real Estate and Technology through thoughtful collaboration across the two practice areas.

• Louise Giannakis is a real estate development, land use, and transactional attorney at Goulston & Storrs. Her practice involves a range of matters including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, zoning, permitting and historic and environmental impact reviews. Ms. Giannakis represents clients engaged in the development of multi-family, office, retail, hospitality, hotel and mixed-use projects, as well as private and public partnerships. The clients she serves include commercial developers and operators of all kinds, including multi-family housing developers, REITs, private equity groups, hospitals and non-profits. While at Boston College Law School, Ms. Giannakis served as the school's Liaison to the Boston Bar Association’s Real Estate Steering Committee in her capacity as President of the Real Estate Law Society.

• David Libardoni is an associate in Nutter McClennen & Fish’s Real Estate Department and a member of the firm’s Development, Land Use, and Permitting practice group. A diverse range of clients rely on David for advising on complex commercial acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture, leasing, and financing matters as well as development and permitting expertise, in particular with negotiating conveyance, financing, and development documents, advising on sophisticated land use, zoning, title, and survey matters, representation at public hearings, and managing the closings for a variety of complex joint venture and financing transactions.

• Natasha Winter is an associate in Dain Torpy’s litigation group. Natasha’s practice focuses on general real estate and zoning/land use litigation. Ms. Winter also practiced environmental law, as well as general private practice litigation, prior to joining Dain Torpy.
