Creating More Accessible Syllabi
About this Event
As more students with disabilities are enrolling in higher education, as research continues to indicate the extent of learner variability, and as more students are actively seeking out the support they need to learn, many instructors are looking for ways to make their courses more accessible. The course syllabus, as students’ first introduction to a course and a persistent resource throughout the course, can be a powerful tool in creating a more accessible learning environment. Join ABLED@BC, the Center for Teaching Excellence, and fellow instructors for a practical session on universally designing syllabi.
